Service to Mankind also includes taking care of our environment and giving back to our fellow man in many ways.

 

For more than 20 years Brainerd Noon Sertoma has been a part of the Adopt-A-Highway program put on by the Minnesota Department of Transportation. 

 

Currently, our club has adopted the stretch of Hwy 371 in the vicinity of Dondlinger, Crow Wing Power, Pleasureland RV, and Power Lodge. 

 

This service activity gives our club a chance to serve our community and beautify the area. It also gives our members a chance to enjoy each other company and bond through service. But it is not all work and no play by any means. We make a game of it by having friendly competitions as to who can find things while picking up trash. We also have a delicious meal when we are done along with some adult beverages.
